11 weeks

I went to the Doctor on Monday Jan 24th. Wes was not allowed to come. He wanted to but he was sick with a fever. I thought it would be best for him not to be around others and stay in bed to rest.

I was able to hear the heart beat again it was 166. It is the coolest thing to hear. 
The doctor said the Baby is doing great! The doctor gave me the thumbs up for not having any morning sickness and told me I was in the CLEAR! WOOHOO

I let her know that Wes was sick and I was worried that he might get me sick. She told me that her husband is a ER/ urgent care doctor and 80% of the patients were FLU cases. I was told I must get a flu shot and she put me on Tami flu for precaution. She said that she is more worried by the fact that I go in and out of doctor offices and hospitals with the FLU like it is.

I went and got my FLU shot right then. As I was waiting I notice EVERYONE that came in had FLU symptoms. The pharmacy told me that they were out of Tami flu and I would need to pick it up on Tuesday.

I thought no biggie... Then Wednesday morning Happened!!!! I woke up with a horrible headache, chills, coughing and vomiting. "is this morning sickness or FLU!! whatever it is I do NOT like it"

I called the doctor. She told me IT'S the FLU!! I am on Tami flu and already feeling better.

Wes and I have been out looking at baby furniture and EVERYTHING ELSE that comes with it. THERE IS A LOT OF STUFF!!

As for Mom: I have been feeling good until the FLU issue, but I am optimistic that it won't last long. I told my boss I was pregnant. She was SUPER excited and told me that I could take off all the time I needed and we could work something out if I wanted to come back part-time. (sigh) That was a big relief!

As for Dad: He continues to be a HUGE help!! We have plans to add the master bathroom suite in Feb. I am so thankful to have a husband like him. He has been a champ and great with the baby shopping.

Wesley's 30th birthday is coming up on Friday. He is having a Dodge ball party. Yep!! This is going to be super FUNNY to watch. Men running around acting like they are in middle school. I will post pictures and the highlights.

New Year New Ritter!!!

Wes and I are so thrilled, delighted, overjoyed, happy, and all the other words that describe EXCITED to announce that we will be Proud Parents in 2011!!!

The due date is set for August 12th and we will be find out what we will be having in May!!!

We were able to give our families GREAT Christmas Gifts this year. We had the opportunity to see there reactions all at once when we gave them gifts of picture frames letting them not that they were the world's Greatest Grandparent/Aunt/ Uncle!!! It was a pretty cool site to see.

We are so happy for all the support from our Family and Friends. It's funny when you tell someone that you are pregnant they get so EXCITED and that emotion rubs off on you! And you get excited ALL over AGAIN!!! Its been pretty fun!

As for the Mom to be: I have been feeling fantastic, I have moments when I'm not sure I'm pregnant because I feel NORMAL! I little more tired than usual but I am still up early working out or joining in on the hustle and bustle of life.

As for the Dad to be: He is SUPER excited!! He has been a GREAT help with me. Making sure I am taking my vitamins and following doctors orders when it comes to working out.  He is very involved with the doctor appointments. Helping answer questions and remembering what was said.

We had our 1st Ultrasound on December 30th. We found out that we are having 1 baby! The ultrasound tech had us going for a moment. BUT Wes was quick to make it Clear only one! We were relieved to say the least.

We are very excited to be Parents and we will keep you posted
